Allysa Packard, soprano, has sung all over the world including China and Italy, with choirs and for study programs. Most recently, she has returned from Prague singing in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as Countess in the Estates Theater with Prague Summer Nights. While in the Czech Republic she also performed with the Orchestr Severočeského divadla opery in a gala with OpernFest Prague.
Allysa has performed various roles and scenes from both opera and musical theater
repertoire. Musical Theater roles include Belle from Beauty and the Beast to Marian the Librarian in The Music Man. She has participated in other shows such as Show Boat, Pirates of Penzance, and Trial By Jury. Opera roles include Ottavia in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Vitellia in La clemenza di Tito, and Madame Lidoine in Dialogues des Carmelites.
She also premiered the role of Lily in The Young King. Allysa has won various awards including Outstanding Senior, a two-time USU Concerto Competition winner, and 2nd place in the District NATS competition. She has been soloist in Bach’s St John’s Passion and Mass in B Minor.
Allysa recently graduated with her Master’s in Music at the University of Maryland in the Maryland Opera Studio, studying with soprano Linda Mabbs. There she received training in movement, acting, mask, stage combat, and many other correlating courses. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Music from Utah State University in Vocal Performance where she studied with soprano Cindy Dewey.

I also offer special classes for homeschooled students and can create a class to meet your needs.

Study at the Glomb Music Studio begins by developing the basics of classical technique, basic music theory, ear training, and sight reading. A strong emphasis is placed in helping students learn how to practice and prepare properly so they can easily transfer this knowledge to other areas of their life. Each lesson is unique and structured toward the individual’s needs and goals. Whether students want to learn basic techniques, strengthen skills, learn music they love for enjoyment or preparation for their next audition, the Glomb Music Studio is the place for you!
